What are your earrings made of?

Every TISTELLA earring is crafted from ASTM F136 implant-grade titanium — the same material used in surgical implants. It's nickel-free and biocompatible — made for sensitive skin. Gold-tone earrings have an 18K PVD finish bonded over the same titanium; the titanium colorway is bare, mirror-polished metal with no coating.

Can I sleep and shower in them?

Yes. The 3mm flat disc sits flush against the back of your ear, so there's nothing to press into a pillow or catch on a towel. Water, soap and sweat don't affect implant-grade titanium.

How do I put them in?

Insert the flat-back post through the back of your piercing, then push the decorative top into the post from the front until you feel a firm click. No tools needed — each pair arrives pre-bent and ready to wear. For a detailed walkthrough, visit our step-by-step guide.

What's the insertion tool for?

Every pair comes with a free 28mm titanium insertion tool to help you find and open your piercing channel. It's especially helpful if you haven't worn earrings in a while or if you have long nails. Full instructions are on our guide page.

How do I adjust the fit?

If you'd like a tighter hold, gently bend the pin near the tip only. Never bend near the decorative top — bending too close to the weld point can cause the pin to snap. See our guide for details.

What if my earring arrives damaged or breaks?

We stand behind every piece. If your jewelry has a manufacturing defect within 90 days of purchase, we'll replace it free of charge. Email hello@tistella.com with your order number and photos. See our full return policy for details.

What's your return policy?

We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of delivery. Worn pairs can be returned for a refund; exchanges need to be unworn and in their original packaging. Return postage is yours (USPS Ground Advantage runs about $5), and nothing is deducted from your refund. Full details in our return policy.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship within the United States only. We're working on bringing TISTELLA to more countries — stay tuned!

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed within 2 business days and typically arrive 3–7 business days after shipping. Free shipping on all US orders.

What's in the box?

Every pair comes with flat-back posts, an insertion tool, a microsuede polishing cloth and a brand card. Two foam pads hold the earrings in place so nothing shifts in transit — keep one as a daily holder.

A 20G titanium guide pin — the same gauge as every TISTELLA post. Slide it through your piercing first, then follow it with the earring. The post goes where the pin already is.

Most useful the first time you wear flat-backs, on a piercing you haven't used in a while, or when long nails make the angle awkward.
