Adjusting & removing

Small bends near the tip dial in the grip — tighter or looser, your call.

For a tighter hold

Gently bend the pin slightly more — but only near the tip. Even a small adjustment makes a meaningful difference in grip.

If it feels too tight

Straighten the pin slightly near the tip to reduce tension. Insert again from the front; the friction lock should still engage cleanly.

To remove

Hold the flat-back disc behind your ear with one hand. With the other, grip the decorative top and pull straight forward with gentle, steady pressure. Do not twist.

To change styles

The post stays in your ear; only the decorative top changes. Press a new top into the same post — no need to re-thread your piercing.

Important — Only bend near the tip of the pin, never near the base where it meets the decorative top. Bending too close to the weld point can cause the pin to snap, and damage from incorrect bending isn't covered under our quality guarantee. Read our policy →
