A cadence is how a musical phrase ends — the last few notes, the resolution you feel coming before it arrives.
Five baguette-cut stones rise along your lobe in a column, each set at a slightly different angle, the way notes sit at different heights on a staff. Then, at the bottom, a single marquise hangs from a ring — the last note, still swinging, not quite settled.
Baguettes are flat and angular where most stones are round. Light comes off them in planes rather than sparks — closer to a keyboard than to a scattering of light.
The post sits just below the second stone, so the column stands along your lobe rather than dangling from it.
